Jürgen Schadeberg has been one of South Africa’s most prominent photographers since the 1950’s. This photo exhibition tells the stories of today’s Johannesburg. The city has shed its past of racial segregation and has the potential of becoming the number one metropolis of Africa. However, while chasing the status as a world-class city, the poor in “the City of Gold” are in danger of being forgotten.

The exhibition is being brought to Norway by the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights.
