All are welcome to the formal opening ceremony which will take place on 24th August in the University Library, Georg Sverdrups House. The Rector of UiO, Professor Geir Ellingsrud, will host the ceremony.
The Norwegian Minister of Education and Research, Mr Øystein Djupedal will open the ceremony, together with the South African Minister of Education, Ms. Naledi Pandor.
At the centre of the opening ceremony is the opening of the exciting Poster Exhibition “Sharing Ideas – Norway-South Africa 10 years” in Galleri Sverdrup.
The opening ceremony will be accompanied by a reception and musical entertainment from South African and Norwegian artists.
